1. What geographic area do you serve?

We serve Lake, Geauga, and Cuyahoga Counties in Northeast Ohio, USA.

2. Who owns the 'S' Generation Center?

The day care center is a privately held and locally operated corporation. In order to be of more service to its clients and the community, ‘S’ Generation center has created a network of other elder care related services such as home health care, care management and respite services. Learn more about other services and resources that are of value to all caregivers.

3. How long has the facility been in operation?

The facility has been in operation since 1995. It was formerly owned and managed by AlmostFamily, a Kentucky-based adult day care / home health care company.

4. What medical conditions do you accept?

We will accept guests with mild to moderate Alzheimer's, memory loss, incontinence, and altered mobility. Guests must be able to transfer with the assistance of one person.
The center is not able to accommodate guests who are violent, in danger to themselves or others, or who require a hoyer lift for transfers.

5. Do you distribute medications?

Yes. We also provide assistance to our guest who may need blood sugar monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, and those who may need reminders to take medications and insulin injections. Some restrictions apply please ask the nurse for details.

6. How secure is the facility?

The doors are monitored at all times, and alarms are set to alert staff of wandering guests. The patio is enclosed and headcounts are done frequently during the day.

7. Is there an infirmary or separate room for someone who is ill?

Yes, there is a clinic on-site. The clinic is equipped with a hospital bed, comfortable recliners and supplies for emergency and first aid treatments.

8. Can I get a free trial visit for a potential guest?

Sorry, we do not give free trial visits. We have found that a short, one-time visit is not a true reflection of what our facility offers. Feel free to book a half or full-day visit for your loved one. Our rates are affordable.
