STAFF QUALIFICATIONS

The programs of the 'S' Generation Center are designed and brought to you by our experienced, licensed, insured, and bonded staff. The staff consists of:

  • Registered Nurses
  • Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Recreational Therapists
  • Medical Assistants
  • Home Health Aides
  • Certified Older Adult Caregivers

We maintain a ratio of four participants to every one caregiver (5:1) so that your loved one is given ample attention during his or her stay with us.

Let us introduce you to our key staff members:

COLEEN HALE was previously working for an answering service, and became interested in working with the senior population while taking calls from them.  She came to 'S' Generation Center over two years ago and started as the transportation manager, then worked her way up to Service Coordinator.  As one of our guests put it "She has finally found her niche is life" as there is nothing more fulfilling than helping others and loving them even more.

KRISTI LOCKWOOD is enjoying her 12th year of working with the senior population.  She started out as a cook in a nursing home and worked her way up to an activity assistant for seven years.   She has now been the activity director here for the 'S' Generation Center for over two years.  She loves seeing the faces of the guests light up while singing an old song or reminiscing about the good "ole" days.

CHERYL LAMBERT, CLPN...With 41 years experience and awards such as Employee of the Month and Nurse of the year for Lake Hospital Systems, Cheryl is well qualified to be the ‘S’ Generation’s Liaison and clinical Nurse.  Cheryl feels that her genuine concern for improving the quality of life if an older person is truer testament of her character.  Positive and upbeat, she keeps everyone smiling and the KNOW…really KNOW she cares.  Her Great Grandmother’s first cousin, Florence Nightingale (yes, the real Florence Nightingale, the MOTHER OF NURSING) would be proud.

KURT OLSZESKI, MA...Our Man for All Seasons”, Kurt floats easily from caregiver to the guy who puts up the Christmas tree and the one who feeds our birds.  Trained and educated as a Medical Assistant, his skills are eclectic and the ‘S’ Generation staff knows they can always count on him to be there whenever they need anything.   Most importantly, his easy smile and positive attitude give our clients a sense of security and safety while in his care.
